The SOS Coalition made an oral submission to ICASA on the 6th of May 2010. The submission looked at a number of issues including international limitations to ownership and control, national limitations to ownership and control, and cross ownership and control regulations. The Coalition stated that ICASA should start with the proposals put forward in its Position Paper, 2004 but it should recognise the fact that these need to be updated in terms of the new digital, multi-channel environment.
